Kid's Art Classes

Our classes focus on creating a new artwork every 2-3 lessons depending on the tempo of our makers and use an array of media such as acrylic and watercolour painting, sculpture/paper maché and clay, print-making and collage in age appropriate ways.

Each class centers around a key subject matter or theme such as a scenery, an animal, different figures or objects to which we will implement visual techniques like blending, scumbling, layering, light and dark qualities, 2D and 3D rendering, shading/ cross-hatching/ sgraffito, etc.

Our classes incorporate techniques used in major contemporary and historical art movements and use artists as models to inspire students of the many creative possibilities of expression.
