Julia Walkinshaw

Julia Walkinshaw has always been creative from a very young age. Her passion for art grew when she studied at technical college mostly drawing faces. Julia loves learning new techniques and mediums, most of which she has taught herself or learned through night classes, including watercolour painting, silversmithing, and pottery. She enjoys designing and creating art from various mediums.

Her true passion is making something special to give as gifts to family and friends. Seeing the look on their faces, the sparkle in their eyes—that is the wow factor that drives her as a designer and artist.

After a hiatus in her artwork for several years, Julia now finds herself surrounded by nature in her new home in rural Northland. It's the perfect time for her to share her work again. She has narrowed her focus to photography, digital art designs and paper creations.
