Karen Williamson

Using only natural resources foraged from the local landscape, prints of leaves, petals, seeds and bark are infused into natural fibres to create a unique organic aesthetic. My work includes making wearable art and funeral shrouds, finding connection and meaning between plants, person and place through the artistic process. I embrace a sustainable kaupapa, leaving as little footprint on the earth as possible.
