Rachel’s work explores the intricate interplay of shape, form, and design within landscapes, focusing on the elegance of rock formations and the enduring allure of natural spaces. Rachel has cultivated her own unique style that blends various techniques and mediums allowing her to create and bring her ideas to life.
Compositions are more than representations of landscapes, they are invitations to experience the quiet strength and elegance of a place or a moment in time.
Alongside her landscape works Rachel also explores the simplicity of still life compositions, honing her drawing skills and capturing a sense of stillness and peace in these works, often with a retro inspiration. All her works are originals.
Rachel Works from her home studio on Auckland's North Shore. She is a past Walker & Hall finalist, Kumeu arts and Kiapara art awards recipient and a regular exhibitor in both local and national art shows and sales.
