Good Vibration

Good Vibrations exhibition showcases an eclectic range of mixed media art by four local Whangarei artists: Cecilia Young, Sue Anson, Yvonne Clapperton and Nelly van der Oord. 

Each artists brings their own unique gift and interpretations of the world around them, with the works explore and experimenting with techniques, mixed media and a variety of subjects. 



Connected by a passion for visual expression, experimentation and enthusiasm, the group are frequent participates in workshops, visiting each other for planned painting sessions where they share ideas, try new products and learned from each other. While their styles vary the message is clear they love creating and the freedom of self-  discovery that their art journey’s offer. 

Their work reflects joyful engagement with individual personal narratives.—from abstract to landscape, bold bright to minimalist,  textures and layered compositions—they invite you to slow down, breath in and enjoy Good Vibrations.
