Tayyaba Hafeez

With an inborn artistic sensibility, I have always been drawn to creativity and expression through art. Though professionally trained and working as a software engineer, my passion for painting has been with me since childhood. Over time, what began as a fulfilling hobby has evolved into a dedicated full-time pursuit.

I specialize in mixed media abstract paintings, primarily using acrylics. My work is the result of a deep, thoughtful process, often expressed through thick textures that give a sculptural, almost three-dimensional presence to the canvas. Each piece is a personal narrative, translated into form, color, and texture.
I am especially inspired by seascapes—the movement of waves, the shifting hues of the ocean, and the calming yet powerful energy of the sea. My abstract seascape series reflects this fascination, combining bold texture with a rich, layered palette to evoke emotion and depth.

Currently, I am exhibiting my work at Reyburn Art Gallery in Whangārei, Northland, New Zealand. I am also an active member of Saatchi Art Gallery USA, through which I have sold several pieces internationally. My goal is to continue sharing my art with a wider audience and to exhibit in diverse galleries across the globe.
